Our coffee must be kept in the fridge! Think of it like fresh milk. It'll go bad if it's left out. That's why we ship it on ice.
Our beer is a fresh product too, and should be kept in the fridge! Storing it warm will accelerate the degradation of the flavours and aromas. We work very hard to keep the oxygen out of the can, but the rest is up to you! So keep it cold and drink it now, because we're always making more.
We don't pasteurise or filter.
We source our beans directly at origin to ensure quality and to build long-term relationships with farmers. We paid more than 200% above the baseline “fair” price for our coffee because great coffee is hard work.

We ship everywhere in the EU with our shipping partner GLS. We always supply you with a tracking number so you can follow your drinks to your door.
In Germany, you can expect your package within two business days. For the rest of the EU, expect delivery within three business days.
Coffee is only shipped Monday through Thursday and is always shipped on ice.
We ship free to Germany, Austria, BeNeLux and Denmark for orders of 12 cans or more!
Farm-to-table beer and coffee.
While we're surrounded by stainless steel all day, we're actually dreaming of farms, thinking about what goes into our products. We will include the names of our coffee farmers, hop growers, maltsters, winemakers, tortillerias on every can. We are lucky to be able to use the best ingredients, and we want to celebrate the people making those ingredients for us.

We talk a lot about balance and drinkability since it's at the core of what we do. But it's also important to remember we're only a part of a chain that starts with Kenyan coffee farmers, Slovenian and German and American hop growers, German and British malt producers, and ends with you. We want that chain to stay intact. Our partnerships with our farmers and producers make what we do possible.

When we started Motel in 2015, all we wanted to do was make great tasting beer and coffee. We built our own brewery in Reinickendorf by ourselves; bought a state-of-the-art canning line; travelled extensively to find producers making high-quality ingredients. We now spend most of our time on improving processes, perfecting techniques and refining recipes, all in pursuit of balance and taste.
